Jordan Kyle, 32, of Indianapolis has been named the USATF Indiana Athlete of the Month for December 2018.
On December 2, Kyle ran a 12 minute personal best of 2:16:54 at the California International Marathon in Sacramento, Calf. The event served as the 2018 USATF Marathon Championships. He finished 26th in a race that saw 51 runners break 2:19 - the qualifying time for the 2020 Olympic Team Trials - Marathon. According to IndianaRunner,.com his time is the eighth fastest ever run by an Indiana high school graduate.
The 2020 trials will be held February 29, 2020 in Atlanta, GA. Kyle competed at the 2016 Olympic Trials in Los Angeles, finishing 94th in 2:38:20.
